WARREN EDHERINGTON HAGAR -- 85,
United St., Canso, died Wednesday at home.
Born in Roseway, Shelburne County, he was a son of the late
Charles and Deliah (Edheringon) Hagar.
At the time he retired he was wireless operator
for the Department of Transport serving as officer in charge in Canso Head.
He is survived by his wife, the former Claire O'Hara;
three daughters, Norma (Mrs. Bob Barnett), St. Catherine's, Ont.;
Rosemary (Mrs. Terrance Devanney), Prospect; Linda (Mrs. James Smith), Canso;
two sons, Lt. Col Michael, Winnipeg, Man; John, Antigonish;
three sisters, Mrs, Dorothy Freeman, Kathleen, both of Roseway; Dolly, Maine;
two brothers, Harry, Merrill, both of Shelburne;
20 grandchildren; three great- grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a siser Marie.
The body is in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m Friday at Star of the Sea Church, Canso
Rev. James W. Oliver officiating.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
