HENSBEE, Waldo George - 83, Eight Island Lake, Guysborough Co.,
died December 27, 1996, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born at Eight Island Lake,
he was a son of the late Delbert Groover and Annie Elizabeth (Feltmate) Hensbee.
He spent is working life as a blacksmith, miner and woodsman.
Surviving are his wife, the former Minnie Barbara Cameron, Eight Island Lake;
daughters, Pearl (Mrs. Gordon Jordan) Antigonish;
Gloria (Mrs. John MacQuarrie) Sand Point;
Jaunita (Mrs. Henry Reeves) East River St. Marys;
sons, Wendell, Eight Island Lake;
Delbert, Antigonish;
half-sister, Ida Feltmate, Eight Island Lake;
12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by half-brothers, Lew, Steve and Charlie Fenton;
half-sisters, Hilda Smith, Maude Charlton.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
Funeral 3 p.m. Sunday in Goshen Gospel Mission,
Pastor Chesley MacKenzie officiating.
Burial in Sunset Cemetery, Argyle.
Donations to The Lung Association.
