Canso - Judson Thomas ROBERTS, 71, Canso,
died Saturday in Eastern
Memorial Hospital.
Born in Canso, he was a son of the late
William and Maude(Hurst) Roberts.
He was a former trawler manager for Acadia Fisheries,
Mulgrave and Canso,
and was a former fire chief
of Canso Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, the former Edith Jamieson; a daughter,
Norma(Mrs. Gordon Swaine),
Canso; two sons, William Judson, Bruce Allen,
both of Canso;
four grandchildren; three sisters, Evelyn(Mrs. Edgar Fisher),
Liverpool;
Edith(Mrs. Belmont Lumsden), Canso; Virginia(Mrs. Joe Dort),
Rexdale, Ont., a brother, Clyde, Antigonish.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Laura ,Winnifred;
two brothers,
Edward, George.
The remains rested in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso
from where
funeral service was held today.
Cremation followed.
