MRS. ELVA A. LOHNES, 88,
was buried in Star of the Sea cemetery
Tuesday following funeral service.
She died Saturday in Eastern Memorial Hospital.
Born in Canso, she was a daughter of the late
Simon and Mary (MacDonald) Williams.
She is survived by two daughters, Pauline (Mrs. Manzer Hendsbee), Canso;
Mrs. Alice Croft, Halifax; two sons,
Douglas and Nelson, both of Canso; one sister
Mrs. Ida Fraser, Portland, Me.
She was predeceased by her husband, Capt. Frank Lohnes.
