Mrs. Rita Virginia Jones, 59, Guysborough,
died Saturday in Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
Born in Havre Boucher, she was a daughter of the late
Joseph and Victoria (DeGroughy) DeCoste.
She was a member of St. Ann's Parish,
the Ladies' Auxiliary and the Royal Canadian Legion, branch 81, Guysborough.
She is survived by her husband, Bill;
a daughter, Elizabeth (Mrs. Allen MacPherson), Boylston;
five sons, Francis, Antigonish; David, Cambridge Station; Peter, Mulgrave;
Ricky and Wayne, both at home; a brother, Henry, Havre Boucher;
and five gtrandchildren.
She was predeceased by an infant son, Michael,
and a brother, Victor.
The body is in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough.
Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday
in St. Ann's Church, Rev. John Jewell officiating,
with burial in the parish cemetery.
