Arthur James Welsh

Hadleyville -
Arthur James Welsh, 83, of Hadleyville, Guysborough County,
died Sunday in Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
He was born at Sand Point, Guysborough County.
He was a retired seaman, having served on the MV Bluenose.
He was an active member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Viola Parks,
three daughters: Naomie [Mrs. Willard Myers], Boylston;
Jessie [Mrs. Earl Carrigan], Sand Point;
Ellen [Mrs. Lloyd Myles], Hadleyville;
six sons: Basil, Guysborough Intervale;
Robert, Francis, Kenneth, all of Mulgrave;
Horace, Steep Creek; George, Hadleyville;
32 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Agnes Mae, and a son, David.
The body is in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Hadleyville,
where the funeral will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday,
Rev. William Bishop officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Donations may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Hadleyville
or Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
