Welsh, Viola Matilda, 80,
Hadleyville, Guysborough County, died Wednesday
in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Steep Creek, Guysborough County,
she was a daughter of the late Jesse & Wesslena [Parks] Parks.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Hadleyville.
She is survived by three daughters:
Naomie [Mrs. Willard Myers], Boylston;
Jessie [Mrs. Earl Carrigan[, Sand Point;
Ellen [Mrs. Lloyd Myles], Hadleyville;
six sons: Basil, Guysborough Intervale;
George, Hadleyville;
Horace, Steep Creek;
Robert, Francis, Kenneth, all of Mulgrave;
a brother, Nelson, Halifax;
32 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur;
a daughter, Agnes Mae; a son, David;
two sisters: Mabel, Jessie, a brother, Wilfred.
The body is in Mulgrave & Area Resting Place,
visiting 2-9 p.m. today.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Holy Trinity Anglican Church,
Hadleyville, Rev. John Clarke officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Donations may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church
or any charity.
