Leta May MacKean (nee MacKean)
ASPEN, Guysborough County - Mrs. Earle James MacKean, 79,
of Aspen, died Monday in St. Mary's Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Aspen, she was the former Leta May MacKean, a daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth (Mason) MacKean.
She lived in Aspen most of her life, and was a member of the Aspen Baptist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Lena (Mrs. Fred MacDougall), Pictou;
two foster daughters, one grandson and two great-granddaughters.
She was predeceased by her husband;
four sisters and six brothers.
The body is in H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow,
where funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m.,
Rev. Bruce Robertson officiating,
with burial in Aspen Cemetery.
