He was a retired cook with the CNR.
He was a member of St. Lawrence Roman
Catholic Church, Mulgrave.
Surviving are his wife, the former Annie
Johnson;
daughter Anne Marie Goodwin Stevenson, Fredericton,N.B.;
sons,
Carmen, Mount Thom, Pictou Co.; Lawrence Jr, Halifax;
George,
Lunenburg; sisters, Irene (Mrs. Harold Snair), Mulgrave;
Mrs. Margaret
Cameron, Sydney; Mrs. Anna Payne, Louisbourg;
Dorthy (Mrs. James Travaline),
Saskatchewan;
five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was
predeceased by sisters Veronica, Threasa,
Eva Mae, two in infancy.
Visitation 2-4,7-9 pm today and Sunday in Mulgrave and Area Resting Place.
Funeral 11 am Monday in St. lawrence Roman Catholic Church,
Rev. Alex
MacLellan officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
