in Liscomb.
Born at St. Philips, Nfld., he was a son of
the late Solomon
and Emeline Squires.
He served during the Second World War as a merchant
seaman
and was a lighthouse keeper and a life member of Royal Canadian
Legion,
branch 86, Liscomb.
He was the last surviving member of his
immediate family.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former
Doris Pynn;
a daughter in infancy;
brothers, Earl, Tasker, Raymond; sister, Helen.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m., today, Legion service 7 p.m. tonight,
funeral
2 p.m. Friday, all in St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Liscomb,
Rev. David
Curry officiating.
Burial to follow in church cemetery.
