McKEEN, Stuart Ellis - 82, Aspen, Guysborough Co.,
died Jan. 16, 1996, in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Aspen,
he was a son of the late Edward A. and Margaret (McGrath) McKeen.
He worked for 22 years in the construction industry and
8 years with the Department of Transportation, Sherbrooke,
He was a member of Queen's Lodge 34, Sherbrooke;
Aspen and District Fire Department and
Kirk Memorial United Church, Aspen.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Surviving are his wife, the former Lillie Polson;
sons, Keith, Sydney;
Ian, Aspen;
two granddaughters; two grandsons.
He was predeceased by brothers, Vincent, Edgar, two in infancy;
sisters, Nellie, Stella, Myrl MacKeen, Viola MacIntosh.
Cremation has taken place.
The family received visitors and a Masonic service was held,
both in H.W. Angus Funeral Home, Stillwater.
Memorial service was in Kirk Memorial United Church,
Rev. George Mickiethwaite officiating.
Spring burial in Aspen Baptist Cemetery.
Donations to St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Aspen Baptist Cemetery fund or any charity.
