FISHERMAN'S HARBOUR - Carl Nicholas Bingley, 69,
of this Guysborough County community,
died Wednesday in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Fisherman's Harbour,
he was a son of the late John and Elsie (Kaiser) Bingley.
He spent his working years as a commercial fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, the former Muriel Doreen Corkum;
six sons, Vernon, Roland, Martin and Wilkie, all of Fisherman's Harbour;
Francis of Indian Harbour Lake and Bruce of Port Bickerton;
two daughters, Bernice (Mrs. Harley Pye) Fisherman's Harbour;
and Chantel, at home;
two brothers, Rovert, Southport, PEI
and Brenton, Fisherman's Harbour;
two sisters, Mrs. Eva Belle Kaiser, Port Bickerton;
and Muriel (Mrs. Douglas Hayne) Stormont;
14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and
several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence.
His remains are resting in Little Hope Union Church, Fisherman's Harbour,
where the funeral will be held 2 p.m. today.
Interment will be in Fisherman's Harbour Cemetery.
