PYE, Wallace James - 50, died August 9, 1998,
in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Antigonish, he was a son of Daisy (Corkum)(Pye) Cummings, Pictou,
and the late Freeman Pye.
He was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Port Bickerton.
He was a refrigeration operator at Bickerton Industries and
was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are his wife, the former Maisie Harpell;
sons, Davey, Toronto;
Lanny, Larry at home;
daughters, Suanne (Mrs. Gary Mansfield) Caledonia, Queens Co.;
Audrey, Toronto;
brothers, Harley, Fishermans Harbour;
Vaughan, Halifax;
Sharlen, Harpellville;
Wayne, Indian Harbour Lake;
Laurie, Sherbrooke;
sisters, Ida (Mrs. Victor Croft) Liscomb;
Winnie (Mrs. Howard Farnsworth), Sylvia (Mrs. Truman Kaiser) Port Bickerton;
several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a granddaughter in infancy.
Funeral was Tuesday in St. Paul's Anglican Church,
Rev. David Currie officiating.
Burial in Harpellville Cemetery.
No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers,
donations to St. Mary's Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
Arrangements entrusted to G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
