Charlotte McConnell,
100, dies in Sydney
McCONNELL, Charlotte - 100, 535 Charlotte St., Sydney,
died Saturday in Sydney City Hospital.
Born in Port Hilford, Guysborough County,
she was a daughter of the late Capt. Robert and Elizabeth (McDermaid) Reid.
She was a member of United Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Adah MacDonald, Sydney;
five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband, R.E.;
a daughter, Betty;
several brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today in United Baptist Church, Port Hilford.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
