Thomas Tobias Chisholm, 66 of Saint Francis Harbour
died Saturday in Guysborough Memorial Hospital.

Born in Saint Francis Harbour, he was the son of
the late John Joseph and Clara (Brennan) Chisholm.

He was a former CN employee, a self employed trucker
and a retired school bus driver. He served for five years
in the Second World War as Chief Petty Officer.
He was president of Local 116 of CUPE,
past president of Belmont Golf & Country Club,
a director of Civil Defense, Guys. Co.,
President of Beaton Credit Union
and Chairman of the Saint Francis Church Parish Council.

Surviving are his wife, the former Ada England;
a daughter, Carol at home; 2 sons, Gerry at home
and Ronald, Stoney Creek, Ont; 2 step sisters,
Ann (Mrs. John Power) Saint Francis Harbour, and Cecilia (Mrs. Alec MacLeod),
Stoney Creek, Ont; a brother, James, Saint Francis Harbour;
four step brothers, William, Joe, Jack, all of Ontario,
and Louis, Saint Francis Harbour; and one granddaughter.
He was predeceased by two daughters and an infant son.
