NEW HARBOUR - Angus William Luddington, 73,
of New Harbour, Guysborough County, died Tuesday, June 30, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital.

Born in New Harbour, he was a son of the late Harding and Gertrude (Litsett) Luddington.

He was a member of New Harbour United Baptist Church and
was a veteran of the Second World War,
having joined the Princess Louise Fusiliers in Halifax on June 20, 1940.being discharged with the rank of Sergeant in November 1945.
He was twice past master of Stormont Lodge No. 96 AF and AM, Isaac's Harbour, Guysborough County
and past deputy grand master of Antigonish and Guysborough.
He worked for the Federal Department of Fisheries from 1955-1984.

He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Wright;
four daughters,
Kathleen, Aylesford, Kings County;
Anna (Mrs. Gerard Overmars) St. Andrews;
Viola (Mrs. Miles Sangster) Amherst;
Laureen (Mrs. Terrance Moore) New Minas;
10 grandchildren;
a sister, Violet May Silver, Halifax;
two nephews.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Linda, in infancy;
granddaughter, Deanna Overmars.

His remains are in New Harbour United Baptist Church,
with visiting from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, from where a masonic service will be 7 p.m. today and funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday.
Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, New Harbour.
Family flowers only.
Donations may be made to New Harbour United Baptist Church
or Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
