MRS. DUNCAN A. MacDONALD -
Truro, Feb 5. The death occurred in St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish,
yesterday of Mrs. Duncan A. MacDonald, 78,
of White Head, Guysborough County.
Her husband predeceased her on January 13 of this year.
Surviving are three daughters and two sons-
Mrs. Norman Henderson, Middlesex, Eng.
Mrs. Cliff Mills, Truro;
Mrs. Harry Jarvis, Ecum Secum;
John, Canso; and Charles, Milton, Ont.
The funeral mass will be offered at St. Joseph's Church,
Port Felix, on Friday morning at 10:30 o'clock.

MRS. DUNCAN MacDONALD, WHITEHEAD, Feb. 8--
Mrs. Duncan MacDonald passed away on Tuesday, February 4,
in St. Martha's Hospital after an illness of several months.
She was in her 79th year and was the daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. John MacAllister of Ogden.
With the exception of a few months
of the later years in the winter spent with her daughters,
all her married life was spent here.
She is survived by three daughters,
Elizabeth (Mrs. Norman Henderson) of Middlesex, England;
Ella (Mrs. Cliff Mills) of Truro; Clara (Mrs. Harry Jarvis)
and two sons, John of Canso and Charlie of Milton, Ont;
by two sisters, Belle (Mrs. MacPherson) of Antigonish County
and Elizabeth, Mrs. Lawlor of Kirkland Lake, Ont.
Her husband predeceased her by three weeks
and a daughter died in infancy. Fifteen grandchildren survive.
Funeral service was held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church
at Port Felix on Friday, February 7, conducted by Rev. H. McNeil,
P.P. Interment was in Port Felix Cemetery
under the direction of Rhynold's Funeral Service of Phillips Harbour.
