Born in Half Island Cove, Guysborough Co.,
she was a daughter of Ethel (Hensbee) Lumsden, Canso,
Guysborough Co., and the late Edward Lumsden.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend.
She was a former member of Glooscap Curling Club, Kentville.
She is survived by daughters, Charlene (Brian) Franklin, Fort St. John,
B.C.; Diane Banks, Kentville; sons, Robert, Kentville;
Darren (Roxanne), Grande Prairie, Alta.; Timothy, Vancouver, B.C.;
brothers, Cyril (Velma), Halifax; Barry, Guysborough County;
Brian (Birdie), Prince Edward Island; grandchildren, Jennifer,
Allyson, Nelson, Machayla, and Falon; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold; sister, Ruth.
Visitation will be from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 14,
in W.C. Hiltz/White Family Funeral Home, Kentville.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 15,
in Bethany Memorial Baptist Church, Aldershot, Kings Co., Rev. Ed Shaw officiating.
Burial will take place in Willowbank Cemetery, Wolfville.
