Born in Canso, he was a son of the late
Havelock and Lilla
(Horton) Horton.
He was a veteran of the Second World War with the rank
of Sergeant.
He worked at the Military Hospital in Halifax.
Following
discharge from the Army,
he worked for Whitmoyer Laboratories, Canso,
and was a bookkeeper for a number of years
with DeCoste & Sons, Havre
Boucher.
He was a member of Canso United Baptist Church.
He was an avid
gardener
and a great lover of flowers.
Surviving are brother, Fred, San
Diego, Calif.; a niece and a nephew.
He was predeceased by sisters,
Ruby, Muriel, Irma;
brothers, Waler, Harold, Elton, Roy.

Canso United Baptist
Church, Rev. David Wheeler officiating.
Burial in Fourth Hill Cemetery.
