NEW TOWN - George Erwin Cameron, 70,
died Monday in St. Martha's Hospital.
Born in New Town, he was a son of the late David N. and Jessie (Ireland) Cameron.
He was a retired farmer and spent most of his life in New Town.
He was a member of Zion Presbyterian Church, East River, St. Mary's
and the Radium Lodge 137, IOOF.
Surviving are a brother, Hugh, New Town;
and two sisters, Ruth, Jean, both of New Town.
He was predeceased by a sister, Nellie; and a foster brother, Frank MacKay.
The body will be in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, after 2 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in Zion Presbyterian Church,
Rev. Steven Cho officiating.
Burial will be in the New Town cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity.
