NORMAN CLAYTON JORDAN
Sunnyville- Norman Clayton Jordan, 79,
of Sunnyville, died Saturday in
Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of
the late Norman and Louise(Skinner)
Jordan.
Before retiring in 1977, he was employed by
Mr. and Mrs. Hankin and Dr.
and Mrs. Brunton.
He was a veteran of the Second World War
and a member of
Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 81, Guysborough.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Byard;
four daughters,
Sharon, at home; Betty, Sarah,
both of Sunnyville; Marion, Guysborough;
three sons,
Norman, Toronto; a foster son Paul, Toronto; (only 2 named?);

grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; a great great grandchild;
three
sisters, Pearl (Mrs. Charles Upshaw), Oshawa, Ont.;
Mrs. Julie Gater,
Chicago; Mrs. Clara Glouster, Ontario.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Aline; two sisters, Marion, Viola;
two
brothers, Harry, Parker.
His remains are resting in Sunnyville United Baptist Church,
where the
funeral service will be held 2 p.m. today.
Internment will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
