MRS. MARY A. MORROW

MULGRAVE, Jan. 4 - There passed away Jan. 2,
at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. L. R. Maguire,
Mary A. Hartie, age 37 years, three months,
widow of Hamilton L. Morrow, ex. M.P.P. of Boylston, N.S.,
who predeceased her eleven years ago.

Mrs. Morrow was born at Boylston, Oct. 2, 1846,
youngest daughter of the late Thomas and Amelia Cunningham Hartie,
and is the last of a large family.
W. B. Hartie, barrister, Saskatoon, nephew of the deceased,
is the only surviving relative of that name.

She is survived by her only daughter, Maude, wife of Capt. L. R. Maguire,
Mulgrave, and one son, B. A. Morrow, Boylston.
Her eldest son, Freeman, died a number of years ago,
Mrs. A. J. O. Maguire, Guysboro,
and Mrs. John SCOTT, Sydney, N.S., are cousins.

A short funeral service was held on Wednesday,
at the home of her daughter, by Rev. C. G. Hares,
rector of St. Andrew's Anglican church, then the remains were forwarded
to the steamer Westport to Boylston, where the funeral service
was held at 2:30 Thursday afternoon from the Boylston Baptist church
of which Mr. and Mrs. Morrow were life long members,
Rev. W. A. White, pastor, officated.
