JOHN (DON) STEWART
WESTVILLE - John (Don) Cameron Stewart, 66,
of College Street,
Westville, died Monday
in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Cross Roads Country Harbor,
he was the son of the late William
and Zella (Mason) Stewart.
He was a member of St. Paul United Church.
He was a well-known scrap merchant,
having operated the Stewart's Bottle
and Scrap Exchange prior to his death.
He is survived by his wife,
the former Janet Frost; four daughters,
Helen (Mrs. Jack Langille);
Evelyn (Mrs. Don Shymko); Zella (Mrs. James
Ferguson)
all of Westville; and Donna (Mrs. William Gaudour), Toronto;
nine sons, William, New Glasgow; Joseph, Gary, Bob, Sandy,
Terrence,
Richard and Joe Jr., all of Westville;
and Allan, Lourdes; four
brothers, Fred and William, Ontario;
Chalmers and Phillip, both of
Thorburn; a step-mother,
Mrs. Margaret Stewart, New Glasgow; 48
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Mrs. Thirza Mason.
The remains are resting in the Eagles Funeral Home, Westville.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Andrew's Presbyterian
Church.
Interment will be in Cross Road's Country Harbor cemetery.
