Albert Price
Aspen, Guysborough County - Albert Edward (Razz) Price, 67,
died Friday at
St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish.
He was born in Stellarton, a son of the late
Albert and Ellen (Manuel)
Price.
He was a former miner at the Albion Mine in Stellarton
and had operated a
canteen at Aspen
until he retired in 1968. He was an adherent of
Kirk
Memorial United Church, Aspen,
and was a member of the Oddfellow Lodge, East
River Branch.
He is survived by his wife, the former Lucy Dalling;
his stepmother, Mrs.
Albert Price, Stellarton;
a daughter, Marjory, (Mrs.John MacMillan),
Enfield;
three sisters, Mary(Mrs. William Stallard), Minnie (Mrs. Harland
Stewart),
and Beatrice (Mrs. Stephen Crowtz), all of New Glasgow;
a brother,
Joseph, Stellarton; and a granddaughter.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother.
The body will be at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow
after 2
p.m., and will be transferred to
Kirk Memorial United Church, Aspen, at 11
a.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be held in the church Sunday at 2 p.m.,
Rev. Waldo Grandy will officiate.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Aspen.
