Cecil Archibald
EAST RIVER ST. MARY'S - A service of celebration for the life of
Cecil Archibald was held April 10, at the Zion Presbyterian Church,
East River, St. Mary's.
Officiating were Rev. Hamilton and Rev. Milton Fraser.
Prior to the service many favorite hymns of the deceased were sung by the combined choir accompanied by pianist Edith Greene.
Scripture passages were read by granddaughters Jan Archibald and Tammy and Melanie Breen.
Grandson Bradley Archibald led in prayer.
Family tributes were given by daughter Ethel MacLaughlin and
granddaughter Corenne McCartley.
A community tribute was given by Calvin Archibald.
The organist and choir led in the signing of the hymns All The Way My Savior Leads Me, Farther Along….Know Who Holds Tomorrow.
The mediation was given by ne…Rev. Milton Fraser, who travelled from Thunder Bay.
Active pallbearers were grandaughters Jill Farris and Jocelyn MacLaughlin,
grandsons Stephen and Bradley Archibald and sons-in-law Eugene B….and Arch MacLaughlin.
Interment was in New Town Cemetery.
A time of fellowship and refreshments was held at the East River St. Mary's Fire Hall.
