Edison Stewart, Greenwood, Dies
Greenwood - Edison Stewart,
died at the Aberdeen Hospital on Thursday
evening
following a lengthy illness.
Born 65 years ago at Goldenville, Guysboro County,
he was the son of the
late John and Carrie(White) Stewart.
He was a retired coal miner and woodsman by trade.
Besides his wife the former Annie Doucette,
he is survived by four
daughters:
Irene, Ontario; Lois (Mrs. Ronald MacDonald), Ontario;
Francis
(Mrs. C. MacKenzie), New Glasgow; Joan (Mrs. Raymond Arnold), Greenwood;
three sons: Raymond and Donald, New Glasgow; and Robert, New Glasgow;

grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Also surviving is one sister,
Stella(Mrs. Neil Sutherland), New Glasgow;
three brothers: Otto and Oswald,
Ontario; and Russell, Stellarton.
The remains are resting at the R.H. Porter Funeral Home,
55 Almont Ave.,
New Glasgow, from where the funeral
will be held on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
