Margaret Tickner (nee MacQueen)
1895-1969
MRS. MARGARET TICKNER, Newton, Guysboro County,
died at home Friday. She was 76.
Born at Framboise, Cape Breton,
she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Margaret MacQueen.
She was a resident of Sydney for a number of years.
Surviving is one daughter, Norma (Mrs. Lowell MacDonald), with whom she resided;
three sons, John, Boston;
Gordon, Sydney, and
Ernest, Boston;
12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild;
three brothers, Dan MacQueen, Hamilton, Ont.;
Norman and Sam of Sydney;
one sister, Mrs. William Chisholm, New Waterford.
Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:30 at Bethany United Church, East River, St. Mary's.
Burial will be in Newtown.
The body is at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
