1892-1992
GOSHEN - Jennie M. Polson, 99, of the R.K. MacDonald Guest Home, Antigonish,
Formerly of Goshen, died Sunday, April 19, at the guest home.
Born in Polson's Brook, Antigonish County,
she was a daughter of the late
William and Kathryn (Goodwill) Polson.
She was a guest at R.K. MacDonald Guest Home for the past 10 years,
having
lived all of her married life in Goshen.
She was a member of Kings United Church, Loch Katrine,
and a member of the UCW.
She was also one of the founding members of the Red Cross Society in Goshen.
She is survived by two daughters,
Lillie (Mrs. Stuart McKeen) Aspen,
Kathryn (Mrs. Stubbert MacHattie) Goshen;
four sons, Robert V. Montreal;
T. Stuart, St. Catherine's, Ont.;
Alex, Goshen and C. Lloyd, Ottawa;
13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren;
a sister, Isabel (Mrs. Nelson Cameron)
Antigonish.
She was predeceased by her husband, John F.;
two sons, J. Fisher and Clarence;
a daughter Margaret (Mrs. Bert MacLean).
Her remains will rest in the MacIsaac Funeral Home, Antigonish,
with visiting from
2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Kings United Church.
Interment in the Goshen Cemetery.
Family flowers only.
