GOSHEN - John Roy Sinclair, 88, of Goshen, Guysboro County,
died Tuesday at the home of
his daughter, Jeanette (Mrs.Milton Rae), Fall River, Halifax County.
Born in Goshen, he was the son of the late James A. and Jane (MacIntosh) Sinclair.
He was a retired farmer and was very active in agricultural affairs.
He was a recipient of a citation of merit from Antigonish - Guysboro Federation of
Agriculture in 1983 for many years of dedicated service.
He was a member of Kings United Church, Loch Katrine, Guysboro County.
Besides his daughter, Jeanette, he is survived by a son, Lloyd, Goshen;
four grandchildren;
three brothers: Sterling, St. Catharines, Ont.;
Alexander and William,
both of Toronto.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Jean Henderson.
The remains are resting at Curry Brothers Funeral Home, Antigonish.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Kings United Church, Loch Katrine.
Interment will be in Goshen Cemetery.
