Capt. Hingley Passes Away At Sherbrooke
SHERBROOKE - The death of Capt. Henry A. Hingley occurred at St. Mary's Memorial Hospital
July 18 following an illness of several months.
Capt. Hingley was born at Wine Harbour in 1871,
son of the late Samuel and Sarah (Hurst) Hingley.
He is survived by three sons, John of Sherbrooke;
Earl of East River St. Mary; and
Arch of Stillwater, with whom he made his home.
His wife, the former Clara Cross, predeceased him several years ago.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon from his late residence in Stillwater,
conducted by Rev. J. Langley MacLean.
Hymns were "The Lord's My Shepherd" and "Abide With Me".
Pall bearers were Abner MacMillan, Ralph Hale, Robert Anderson, Smith MacKinlay, Burt Weir and
Scott Fraser.
Interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Sherbrooke.
