MacINTOSH, Mrs. Letitia Jean -97, Sherbrooke, Guysborough County,
died Friday at St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Fishermen's Harbour, Guysborough County,
she was the daughter of the late William and Alice (Bingley) Mason. She was a member of St. John's United Church and the U.C.W.
She was also a member of the Sherbrooke Women's Institute, Florence Fraser Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and Sunlight Rebekah Lodge 110, East River St. Mary's.
She was a resident of L.R. MacKaracher Nursing Home for the past 10 months.
She is survived by two sons, Burns, Blue Mountain, Pictou County;
Donald, British Columbia;
two daughters, Mrs. Jean Fleming, Hamilton, Ont.;
Myrl (Mrs. Malcolm Baker) Sherbrooke;
10 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Archibald; a daughter Anne;
four brothers, Havelock, Nicholas, Stewart and William;
five sisters, Emma, Blanche, Jane, Miranda and Anne.
The body is at St. John's United Church, where funeral will be held 2 p.m. Monday,
Rev. George Micklethwaite officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Sherbrooke.
Family flowers only.
