BARRON, Harold - 81, Sherbrooke, Guys. Co., died Jan. 22, 1996 at home.
Born in Rawdon Gold Mines,
he was a son of the late Anthony and Ella (MacPhee) Barron.
In his early years he worked at the gold mines in Goldenville.
He later operated a farm owned by A.W. Cameron in Glenelg.
He worked for 24 years at Anderson's General Store in Sherbrooke before retiring.
Surviving are daughters, Verla (Mrs. Fred Archibald) Bermuda;
Verna (Mrs. Keith Horton) Velma (Mrs. Clinton Kaiser)
son Bobby, all of Port Bickerton;
11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren;
sisters, Edith Archibald, Emma MacDonald, Halifax;
Edna Harvie, Rawdon;
several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Elizabeth MacDonald;
brothers, Lorne, Maynard;
sister, Ena Dillman.
Funeral in St. James Presbyterian Church, Sherbrooke,
Rev. Carol Smith officiating.
Burial in Riverside Cemetery.
Donations to St. James Presbyterian Church, St. Mary's Memorial Hospital or any charity.
