Victor Melton McLane
1908-1988

MCLANE, Victor Melton - 80, Sherbrooke, Guysborough County,
died Thursday in Camp Hill Hospital, Halifax.
Born in Sherbrooke,
he was a son of the late Adam and Flora (MacCutcheon) McLane.
He lived in Sherbrooke most of his life and
was a member of Saint James Anglican Church and session.
He was an employee of the Department of Highways for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, the former Gladys Hudson;
three daughters, Shirley (Mrs. Walter MacDonald) Stillwater, Guysborough County;
Betty (Mrs. Paul Saulnier) Ontario; and
June (Mrs. Earl Martin) Halifax;
a son David, Charlottetown;
a sister, Mary McLane, Halifax;
and nine grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Anna and Blanche,
two brothers, James and Joseph.
The body is in H.W. Angus Funeral Home, Stillwater, Guysborough County,
with visiting after 2 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in St. James Presbyterian Church, Sherbrooke,
Rev. Murdo Marple officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Riverside Cemetery Fund.
