Mrs. Charles R. Cameron

SHERBROOKE - Mrs. Charles Russell Cameron, 74, of Sherbrooke,
died Monday in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor.
Born in Moser River, she was the former Edith Belle Irwin,
a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Fancy) Irwin.
She lived in Sherbrooke most of her life and
was superintendent of St. John's United Church Sunday school for over 20 years.
She was a member of the church choir,
past matron of Florence Fraser Chapter No. 47,Order of the Eastern Star,
past noble grand of Rebekah Lodge and
past president of the Women's Institute and the Red Cross Society.
Surviving are two sons, Charles Irwin, Liverpool;
John Fraser, Sherbrooke;
two daughters, Nancy Joyce (Mrs. Harold Cameron) Sherbrooke;
Mary Jane (Mrs. Vance MacDonald) Halifax;
a sister, Mrs. Kate Dean, Port Dufferin;
and 10 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, two brothers and a sister.
The body is at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow,
and will be transferred to St. John's United Church in Sherbrooke today at 2 p.m.
from where funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m.
Rev. Harry Disher officiating assisted by Rev. Waldo Grandy.
Burial will be in the Riverside cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the
missionary work of Allan and Betty Ann Darby in Haiti.
