SPONAGLE, Charles Edwin - 74, Goldenville, died May 9, 1998, at home.
Born in Goldenville, he was a son of the late Augustus and Alberta (Nickerson) Sponagle.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Goldenville.
He was a long time employee of Sherbrooke Village, having retired in 1989.
Surviving are brothers, Morton, Liverpool;
Lester, Harold, Halifax;
Robert, Moncton, N.B.;
Sisters, Irene (Mrs. Neil MacDonald); Olive (Mrs. Russell Christianson) Halifax;
Ina, Montreal;
Doris (Mrs. Charles Hudson) Isaacs harbour;
Mabel (Mrs. John Walker) Truro;
many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brother, Byron; sister, Alberta Smith.
Funeral was Tuesday in St. James Presbyterian Church, Sherbrooke,
Trudy Meyer officiating.
Burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Sherbrooke.
Family flowers only.
