MACDONALD, Thomas Chalmers -
Funeral service for the late T. Chalmers MacDonald of Hopewell
was held September 8,
in the First Presbyterian Church, Hopewell with
Rev. Glenn MacDonald and Rev. Charles MacPherson officiating.
A combined choir with organist Martha MacLean, led in the singing of the hymns,
All the Way My Saviour Leads Me and Amazing Grace.
Grant MacDonald sang Beyond the Sunset and
Marlene Chisholm read the 23rd Psalm.
Pallbearers were Bill MacDonald, Ken MacDonald, Gordon MacDonald,
Terry Chisholm, Brian MacKeen and Jim Kirk, nephews.
Honorary pallbearers were Harold Whidden, Clarence Archibald, Duncan MacDonald;
Fraser MacLean, Kirk Whidden and Brian Kirk.
Interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Sherbrooke;
followed by a reception in St. James Presbyterian Church Hall provided by the A.M.S.
