William MacDonald 'Don' Cruickshank

CRUICKSHANK, William MacDonald (Don) - 62, Sherbrooke, Guysborough Co.,
died August 2, 1995, in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Antigonish,
he was a son of Mrs. Jennie (Jordan) Cruickshank, Sherbrooke,
and the late Graham MacDonald (Mac) Cruickshank.
He was employed by the Halifax Shipyard for a number of years
and was project director of the restored Sherbrooke Village project since 1977,
in which he continued until ill health required him to resign.
He was an elder at St. James Presbyterian Church;
past master and treasurers of Queens Masonic Lodge 34, Sherbrooke;
member and treasurer of St. Mary's male choir;
board member of North Shore Drug Dependency Program,
and received the Albert Whidden Merit and Recognition Award for 15 years of voluntary service with Antigonish-Eastern Shore tourist Association.
Surviving are his wife, the former Kathleen Clow;
daughter, Donna Lewis, Halifax;
son, Graham, New Glasgow;
granddaughters, Kathleen, Kayla, Melissa;
grandson, Robert.
Cremation to take place.
Family will receive visitors 7-9 p.m. tonight in Ecum Secum Funeral Home, Sherbrooke.
Memorial service 2 p.m. Friday in St. James Presbyterian Church.
No flowers by request. Donations to St. Mary's Memorial Hospital or St. James Presbyterian Church, Sherbrooke.
