JOHN WILLLIAM LEONARD RODENHISER, 82, was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Sherbrooke,
folllowing funeral service at the Rodenhiser home, Sherbrook.
Born in Liscombe Mills, he was the son of the late
David and Eleanor Crooks Rodenhiser.
He was a fisherman and lumberman and later worked for the Goldenville Mining Company.
In 1931 he built and operated the first "Sherbrooke Electric Power Plant"
which he sold to the Nova Scotia Power Commission in 1944.
Surviving are his wife, the former Grace Darling Crooks of Liscombe;
one son, Ray, Willsboro, New York;
three daughters, Barbara (Mrs. E. O. Winkleman) Roledo, Ohio;
Lena (Mrs E.C. Keith) Stellarton;
Jessie (Mrs. Ralph Maskell) Burlington, Ont.;
and one sister, Florence (Mrs. Thomas Vinotte) Northwood Narrows, N.H.;
seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
