Edna Blanche Malloy (nee Smith)
SOUTH LOCHABER - Edna Blanche Malloy, 93, of South Lochaber, Guysborough County,
died Thursday, July 15, in St. Mary's Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Country Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Sarah Smith.
She was a lifelong resident of Lochaber.
She was a member of Bethel Tabernacle Church and a Silver Cross mother.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by a daughter, Bernice Tate, South Lochaber;
three grandchildren; two great-granddaughters.
She was predeceased by her husband, George;
a son, William; a half-sister, Anna Frost.
Visitation will be 2-4, and 7-9 p.m. today in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, in Bethel Tabernacle Church, South Lochaber.
Interment will be in Stewart Cemetery, South Lochaber.
Donations may be made to St. Mary's Memorial Hospital.
