HUDSON, Eric Dalton - 52, Country Harbour, Guysborough County,
died October 21, 1992, at home.
Born in Isaac's Harbour, Guysborough County,
he was a son of Arnold and Laura (Henderson) Hudson.
He was a self-employed businessman, owning and operating Country Harbour Auto Salvage.
He was a pioneer in Aquaculture in the Country Harbour area operating under Stormont Mussel Farm and later as Hudson-Sangster Enterprises Ltd.
He was a journeyman carpenter, having worked for many years in Guysborough County and other parts of the province.
As a private woodlot owner he harvested pulp wood and christmas trees.
He was an avid hunter and sports fisherman.
He was a founding member of Country Harbour Loyalist Association and Country Harbour Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife, the former Laura E. Fenton;
two sons, Rocky, Chris, both at home;
two daughters, Michele (Mrs. Philip MacArthur) Country Harbour; Suzanne, at home;
three brothers, Phil, Hamilton, Ont.;
Brian, Country Harbour;
Clifford, Halifax;
two sisters, Arnita (Mrs. Wayne Giffin) Country Harbour;
Darlene (Mrs. Kevin Connolly) Pictou;
two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, Tim.
The body is in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour;
visiting 2-4, 7-9 pm. Today.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Stormont Union Church, Rev. Stanley Worth officiating.
Burial will be in Stormont Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Country Harbour Loyalist Association or Country Harbour Cultural Centre.
