COOK, Dorothy May - 71, Sherbrooke, Guysborough Co.,
died January 21, 1996, at home.
Born in Heron Island, N.B.,
she was a daughter of the late George and Stella (Mercier) Lapointe.
She worked for 11 years at the Sherbrook Exhibit Centre in Sherbrook Village.
Surviving are sons, Gordon, Vernon, B.C.;
Owen, Lumby, B.C.;
Michael, Germany;
daughters, Barbara (Mrs. Alex Playfair), Kelly (Mrs. Ronnie Kaiser), Sherbrooke;
brothers, Tony, Joe, Campbellton, N.B.;
sisters, Beatrice Coughlen, Louise Vallencourt, Lydia Hill, Niagara Falls, Ont.;
Theresa Olsen, Pauline Doucet, Georgette Backs, Toronto;
eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Fredrick;
brothers, Roland, Stanley.
No visitation. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial service 2 p.m. Friday in St. James Anglican Church,
Rev. David Curry officiating.
Burial in church cemetery.
Donations to Nova Scotia Rehab Centre, Halifax.
