Leo George 'Bud' Cook
COOK, Leo George (Bud) - 64, Sherbrooke, Guysborough County,
died Thursday in the Halifax Infirmary.
Born in Sherbrooke,
he was a son of the late Walter and Bertha (Baker) Cook.
He was a retired employee of Guysborough County District School Board having worked there for 24 years and
was also a retired from the R.C.M.P. Sherbrooke where he worked for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, the former Pearl Burns;
two daughters, Joanne (Mrs. Melvin Burns) Sonora, Guysborough County;
Debra (Mrs. Harry Cruikshank) Sherbrooke;
two sisters, Effie Wilson, Marion (Mrs. Trueman Jordan) both of Sherbrooke;
seven grandchildren.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Ralph, Water, Aimeon;
two sisters, Edith Laing, Hazel Hines.
The body is in St. James Presbyterian Church, Sherbrooke,
visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today,
where funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday,
Pastor Jeff Reason officiating.
Burial will be in St. James Anglican Cemetery.
