Jordanville -

Charles Cecil Jordan, 72, of Jordanville,
Guysborough County, died Friday at home.
Born in Jordanville, he was a son of the late
John George and Lydia Ann (MacDonald) Jordan.
He was a retired painter and carpenter and former member
of the army medical corps. He was a long standing member
of St. Thomas Anglican Church, Indian Harbour Lake.
He is survived by his wife, the former Jean Adeline Jordan;
two sons, Ronald, St. John; Samuel, Indian Harbour Lake;
two brothers, Edison and Eldon, Jordanville; five grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a half-brother, William Crow;
a half-sister, Mary Dunbar; three brothers, Arch, Hiram and Jackie;
a sister Lillian Brigley; two infant sisters; Audrey and Alice.
The body is in St. Thomas Anglican Church
where funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. today,
Rev. Brenda Shipton officiating. Burial will be
in Sunset Rest Cemetery, Indian Harbour Lake.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
St. Thomas Anglican Church Memorial Fund or Sunset Rest Cemetery Fund.
