Funeral Services For Mrs. C. Baker
LISCOMB - The funeral of Mrs. Clarence Baker, 52, was held Feb. 20 at St. John's United Church, Liscomb,
Rev. Robert Stevens officiated.
Mrs. Baker died at St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish, following a lengthy illness.
The former Marion Smith, she was born at Queen's Cove, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Smith.
She resided in Liscomb following her marriage in 1945.
Mrs. Baker was a member of St. John's United Church serving on the board of stewards, and as secretary treasurer of the Ladies' Aid.
She is survived by her husband;
one daughter, Noreen, and a son, Lawrence, both at home;
one stepson, Gordon Baker, Mulgrave;
two brothers and three sisters, and two grandchildren in Mulgrave.
Interment was in the family plot in the church cemetery.
