SUTHERLAND, Irene Alice - 92, Goldboro, Guysborough Co.,
died July 30, 1998, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Goldboro, she was a daughter of the late Wellington and Greta (MacArthur) Sutherland.
She was an adherent of Goldboro United Baptist Church and a member of Laural Rebekah Lodge 101, Goldboro.
She was a mail courier for over 20 years and then worked at S.R. Giffin & Sons General Store in Goldboro from 1952 until retiring in 1975.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers, Gordon, Philip.
Visitation 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Sunday, both in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour, Rev. Chuck Mosley officiating.
Burial in Bayview Cemetery, Goldboro. Donations to Bayview Cemetery Fund.
