Whitman G. Giffin
Whitman G. Giffin, for more than 50 years an outstanding soloist with the Goldboro, N.S.
church choir, passed away last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H.R. Forbes, 14 Deacon Street.
He was born at Goldboro and spent most of his life there.
Surviving besides his widow, are three sons:
Watson L. of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.;
Charles E. of Pictou, and
Carl T. of Winnipeg, and a
daughter, Clara (Mrs. H.R. Forbes) of Halifax.
Services will be held this evening at 8 o'clock at 14 Deacon Street,
with Rev. G.S. Vincent,
Pastor of the West End Baptist Church officiating.
Interment will be made at Goldboro.
