CRUICKSHANK, Jessie W. -- 92,
Northwood Centre, Halifax,
formerly of Lower Caledonia, Guysborough Co., died June 5, 1998, in the centre.
Born in Elgin, Pictou Co., she was a daughter of the late John Duncan and Margaret (Campbell) Urquhart.
She had been a resident of Northwood Centre for the past four years,
previously residing in Lower Caledonia all of her married life.
She was a retired school teacher, having taught in various schools in Cape Breton, Pictou and Guysborough counties.
She was a member of Kirk Memorial United Church, Aspen.
Surviving are daughter, Karen (Mrs. Paul Bambrick) Middle Sackville;
sons; Lawrence, Kamloops, B.C.;
Melvin, Caledonia,
seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild;
sister, Jean Nichols, Elgin.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin;
brother, Warren; sisters, Eileen, Claire.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in H.W. Angus Funeral Home, Stillwater.
Funeral 3 p.m. Sunday in Kirk Memorial United Church, Aspen, Rev. Ross Hamilton officiating.
Burial in Cruickshank Cemetery, Lower Caledonia.
