Mrs. George Casey
Mrs. George Casey , 74, of 77 Prince Albert Road in Dartmouth died in
Truro Wednesday. Born in Canso she was the former Mary Alice Frances Carter,
a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Carter. Surviving are four daughters,
Blanche (Mrs. Harold Richardson), Canso; Isabel (Mrs. William O'Leary)
Beaver Harbour, N.B.; Catherine (Mrs. George Mosher), Dartmouth; and Mary
(Mrs. Leo Atkinson), Halifax; five sons, Lawson, Halifax; Freeman and Lorne,
Canning; Arthur and Hugh, Dartmouth; a sister, Mrs. Lisa Greencorn, Canso;
and two brothers, George, Canso, and James, Canning. She was predeceased
by her husband in 1947. The body is at Mattatall's Funeral Home, 217 Portland
St., Dartmouth, and will be forwarded Friday to Canso. Funeral Service
will be held Saturday at Star of the Sea Church. Burial will be in Canso.
