ROSSONG, John Daniel- 66, Hazel Hill, Guysborough Co., died November
27, 1995, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Hazel Hill, he was
a son of Blanche (Casey) Rossong and the late John Rossong. He was a member
of Star of the Sea Parish. Surviving are his wife, the former Bernice Boudreau;
daughters, Lillian (Mrs. Ken Lewis), Cambridge, Ont.; Marie (Mrs. David
Richardson), Canso; Karen (Mrs. David Andrews), Bernadette (Mrs. Clarence
Creamer), Philips Harbour; Lisa, Halifax; sons, Gerald, Bernie, Hazel
Hill; Eddie, Canso; sisters, Mrs. Kay MacPherson, Antigonish;
Mrs. Theresa Dewar, Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.; Mrs. Mary MacIsaac, Boston,
Mass.; brothers, James, Canso; Francis, Freddie,
Antigonish; Bobby, Yellow Marsh, Guysborough Co.; nine grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Sophie; brother, Hughie;
granddaughter, Wendy Rossong. Visitation 2-9 p.m. today in Dennis Hayerstock
Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral 11 a.m. Thursday in Star of the Sea Church,
Canso, Rev. Gerald Campbell officiating. Burial in parish cemetery.
