SANGSTER, James William - 86, New Harbour, Guysborough Co., died May 3, 1999, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in New Harbour, he was a son of the late Walter and Loretta (MacKeil) Sangster. He was an adherent of New Harbour United Church of Canada. He was a veteran of the Second World War, having served overseas in France and Germany with the Stormont Dundas Glengary Highlanders from 1940-1945. He was employed by Hamilton Harbour Commission in boat repair until his retirement. Surviving are sister, Elsie Wright, Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Helen Cameron; second wife, the former Clara Mac-Laughlin; brothers, Floyd, Clayton; sister, Maude Dort. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday, both in New Harbour United Church, Rev. Doreen Daley officiating. Burial in the family plot in Riverside Cemetery, New Harbour. Arrangements entrusted to G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
